Our Little Girl in 3-d

Our little girl was somewhat cooperative yesterday for her official photo shoot. Except for the fact that she likes to stick her toes up her nose. Let's just call her our little gymnast.

New additions!!

Last week was a great week for two of our friends. Shelby and Chad had Kira on Thursday morning. She was super early, but is healthy and making progress daily! We can't wait to go see her!

After three long years, my court case for little D was finally resolved. He was adopted by his forever mom on Friday morning. He is super excited about being adopted and loved the festivities. His baptism was Sunday and all of his mom's family and friends helped celebrate.

Tonight we have our last baby class-tonight's topic is bringing baby home and diapering/feeding.

We have less than a week til we have the 3d ultrasound! I can't wait to meet our little girl again!

Alien in my belly

I mean alien in the most friendliest of ways~our little girl keeps making my stomach move and bounce~its a weird sensation much less to see your stomach actually move like that. From time to time she has made her presence known by sticking her butt out and pushing. I keep trying to tell her that she cannot come out my belly button. She is very active and loves chocolate! I'm starting to get to the point of being uncomfortable including sleeping, change in body temperature, and the inability to walk up 6 stairs without having to catch my breath. Jason probably thinks I'm terribly out of shape, but I just have an extra 7 lbs resting on my lungs.

We have baby class again tonight and I'm hoping they don't share with us more information that will make me as anxious as last week. My next doctor appointment is going to be full of questions!

Technical note: For those of you that use gmail as your email, you can now use google reader to see when we update the site, instead of checking everyday (for those hardcore fans out there). I've added an RSS at the bottom of the blog.

Epidural Video

Last night in baby class we were shown pain management techniques including the epidural. Prior to viewing the video, I was convinced an epidural was the way to go. After seeing what the procedure is, I'm not so sure its going to be my first choice. I've not been sick in about 4 months, but watching that needle go in was enough to make any one's stomach turn. Because I believe in the healing benefits of touch and massage, I'm now convinced that Jason is going to have to give me a pre-game rub down and that will have to be it. Bring on the bathtub, the yoga ball and the calming music. But then again, once those endorphins kick in, I might be singing a different tune. "give me the drugs."
Sometimes I think ignorance is bliss.

New baby Bergfeld

Well, I was beginning to feel like a slacker of a mother because I hadn't posted anything about our little girl. She is due on June 7, 2008. Right now, we haven't confirmed or denied her name, but most of the family members are calling her Hambone or Blueberry. We've started baby class and hope that we will continue to be enlightened. My most favorite class was the meditation/relaxation class. Nothing like sleeping while someone puts wonderful images in your head. Jason and I both thought of the same images to calm us: Cliffs of Moher, Coronado Beach.
Here is little Hambone's first glamour shots.
We have another ultrasound on April 14, 2008.
