Dublin

We got to Dublin today. Limerick was actually quite nice. Rained again this morning, but that seems to be common. I've been fighting off a sore throat, so I've been trying to sleep as much as possible. We'll tour Dublin sites tomorrow. Dinner still tonight.

Saw St. John's castle in Limerick.


The food in Paris is looking even more appetizing.

The Emerald Isle

Been here for 3 days. Rained first 2 days. Today is beautiful--just a little windy. No trips to Aran Islands because of the sea conditions. Lunch was wonderful. Saw Cliffs of Moher yesterday. Jason ate mussels--GROSS. But when in Rome. We made friends with the resident doggie at our B and B. His name is George and I would bring him home with me if i could.

Leave Doolin for Limerick tomorrow then on to Dublin. Check back in about 3 days.

Passport Hell

We are leaving in 4 days and J still doesn't have his passport. A word of advice to all those who plan on travelling anytime in the next 6 months: turn your application in ASAP. We may not be able travel because of the 300,000 applications that are currently being processed out of New Orleans alone. I feel bad for the people that work at the passport agency-Working 24 hours and dealing with citizens like me. Keep plugging away for me cause Dublin and Paris are calling.

Revenir a Paris

Well, the Sargfelds are getting ready to head out on their second honeymoon (already) to the city of lights and prior to that we'll be on the emerald isle. More forthcoming...
